The worship and music ministry seeks to educate people of all ages in a love for our God and His wonderful gift of music.

 

Jesus said; "But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him." - John 4:23

 

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." - Colossians 3:16 (NKJV)

 

Christian music is used to declare God's infinite worth. In addition, the music teaches and encourages believers to glorify God through their words and actions.

 

Worship Choir

The worship choir is comprised of adults and any interested youth. Two hour rehearsals are weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm located in the choir loft. The choir leads congregational singing and presents "Special Music" every Sunday in Morning Worship.  In addition, the choir presents full musicals at Easter, Fourth of July and Christmas.

 

Children's Choir

Each year the children's choir presents a Christmas musical in early December and a non-seasonal musical in early June.

 

Technical and Multimedia Ministry

A team of video, lighting and audio technicians serve together during regular worship hours as well as special productions. This vital assistance is important to the worship experience. Training will provided for all who are interested.

 

Vocal Soloist

Vocal solos are presented at each of our Worship services. These talented singers are selected and scheduled by the music pastor.

 

 

Orchestra

Youth and adults who play instruments and have music reading skills accompany congregational singing at Sunday morning worship hours. The individual musician receives their music weekly along with detailed plans for self preparation and once a month we have a group rehearsal.

 

We are always looking for new instrumentalists in each of the four areas of the orchestra (woodwinds, brass, precussion, strings). Many of these talented musicians participate in the orchestras that accompany our Christmas, Easter and Fourth of July presentations.
