Building a Culture of Peace

Bethel is in the midst of a Twelve week Peacemaker study.  All of Bethel’s LifeGroups (weeknight small groups and Sunday School classes) will participate in the comprehensive study, The Peacemaking Church.  Each participant will learn the basic principles of personal peacemaking.  Each session will begin with a 25 minute video in which Ken Sande, Peacemaker Ministry founder, will teach.  Then small group leaders will facilitate study, discussion and prayer.  A Participant Guide and Peacemaking Principles  pamphlet will be provided for each person attending.  An optional book, The Peacemaker, will be available for $10 in the church foyer.  Also, Mike Martin will be leading a class on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm and Maynard and Martha Sager will lead a class at 9:00 am on Monday mornings in order that the adult workers in our Sunday morning Preschool and Children’s Divisions will be able to participate in the study.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.
